14 Self Study Sessions To Build Phenomenal Habits In Health And Life
After being diagnosed 2 years ago with diverticular disease and very little help I felt incredibly scared for my health.
I was on 2 lots of blood pressure tablets... maxed out, HRT and medication for stomach, they wanted to give me anti-depressants too and a third BP medication ... oh and have strong pain killers on standby for diverticular flare ups and back pain and arthritic knees!!!
What nobody was looking at the root causes, nobody was looking at what was causing all this crap in my body so I went on a mission to find out, it took another year before I would get some answers... but I found them!!!!
This last year my IBS & Diverticular Disease have gone, I have had 1 tiny diverticular flare up.... caused by me and needed no medication, because I understood it.
I no longer take ANY medication for Blood Pressure or any HRT medication because I wasn't peri-menopausal.
I have lost 3 stone and have turned back the clock on my body and I feel great.
Whats did I do ......?????????
I change my food habits, I didn't go on a diet ...why would I? I had tried EVERY diet out there!!!
I started to look at food in a different way, eating to live a gorgeous life not living to eat! I learnt about food, the gut, the root causes of health issues, what repairs the body and I got on with it. I didn't moan and witter ... because what was the alternative, stay very ill and have no life ??
I looked at stress because that was a huge factor, I had been storing stress for years and years ... it was affecting my hormones, cortisol levels, my immune system, mental health and all sorts!
I started to release the stress and learn how to hold space for it rather than try and run away from it.
I called on nature to guide to me as well as getting coaching and guidance myself to work through issues.
I am a huge advocate for the healing powers of nature and also for finding a great coach or mentor to help you find solutions.
I started to love on myself instead of gaslighting myself all the time None of it came easy and it is still a work in progress for sure, but isn't that the beauty of life, the journey, making it a gorgeous one that you can look back on and be proud of
